Toyota and our government in bed together, at our expense?Published on 2010-02-23 09:18:30 by Bill Williamson When I think of Toyota making a deal with our government to limit their recalls regardless of what vehicles actually need it, makes me sick to my stomach. Why is our government in bed with a foreign car company, risking our lives? The all mighty dollar. Regardless of how our government is destroying the value of our dollar and putting generations that follow, deep into debt, there is no justification for anyone making any type of "deal" to limit the recall of anything that might be dangerous to us. The US government is too big, and too commercially oriented. It should be law that government cannot intervene in the private sector for anything. Not banks, not car companies, anything. ...unless it is detrimental to government commodities like it's citizen. That's right, like it or not, you are simply a commodity of the government that controls everything around you.
